NAIA Women's Track & Field National Championships: Day 2

GULF SHORES, Ala. – On Friday, The Master’s University continued its time at the 37th Annual NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Abigail Frankian represented TMU in the 5,000m trials.  Frankian competed in the second heat of the day where she finished in seventh place (15th overall) with a time of 18:44.42.  Frankian’s performance, which was praised by TMU head coach Zach Schroeder as being "smart and tactful," qualified her to compete in Saturday’s 5,000m final at 5:30 p.m. (CDT).

Also on Saturday, TMU’s Rachael Ingoldsby will compete in the women’s 3,000m steeplechase final at 2:00 p.m. (CDT), while Morgan Pedrick will compete in the 1,500m final at 3:00 p.m. (CDT).
