Jasmine Parada added another top honor to her collection on Tuesday when the NAIA picked her among its best of the year.
The TMU junior earned second team NAIA All-American honors, capping a campaign that featured 16 goals and five assists. She led the Golden State Athletic Conference in goals and points (37) en route to being the conference's co-Player of the Year.
"We're super excited about Jazzy being honored," said coach Curtis Lewis. "She has worked very hard and has allowed her work to be her worship this whole Year. We're excited about seeing her continued success next year."
Two of Parada’s teammates were also honored Tuesday by the NAIA, as sophomore defender Kayla Peterson and junior forward Hailey Gomillion earned honorable mention.
Gomillion led the GSAC with eight assists, while Peterson anchored the team's backline, leading the Mustangs to two shutout wins in the postseason.
